Healey’s Hounds dog training group is long established , veterinary recommended and has been trading for over 24 years, turning dogs into model citizens and assisting with the many behavioural issues clients encounter along the way. Now relocated to Gwithian, continued training out on the dunes is where you will find her.
Every client and their relationship with their dog is unique and requires individual attention and this makes the work as a dog trainer both enjoyable and challenging and keeps me passionate about training.
Group training is one of the best methods of training as long as it is done with care. The classes should be small groups so as not to overwhelm any nervous or excitable dogs that are attending for the first time. As I train young pups through to intermediate and advanced levels my waiting lists enable me to manage groups for dogs which are compatible with each other. Mixing previously socialised older puppies (four) with newly acquired rescue dogs or untrained younger dogs (two) it does not take long for the whole group to work in harmony which allows off lead training and play when lessons finish.
Woodland walks 4 dogs, 4 levels, are an opportunity to practice and perfect the best control where its needed most. Private walks also available. These are all held on the Towans at Gwithian
